Include many blog posts on topics that people will always want to read about. Some topics and ideas are ageless. They inspire the same level of interest today that they inspired last year. They will likely continue to be of interest well into the future. It's these topics that will regularly pull in readers.

Write new blog posts as often as possible. If you want to keep visitors coming back and attract fresh ones, your blog needs to be updated routinely. If you do not offer new content regularly readers will have no motivation to keep visiting. A regular, daily blog post is a good goal to give yourself.

Try not to use too many keywords. The right keyword is a vital part in getting people to read your blog, but quality should be the focus, not quantity. Search engines change their algorithms for search ranking often, so that they can better analyze content for quality. A site that is covered in keywords will tell the search engine that you are more focused on search engine optimization than good writing. This is why you should select precise keywords that have been proven to increase your amount of traffic.

Higher quality viewers will come to the blog if you utilize strong backlinks, and you will also earn better search engine rankings. If search engines perceive your blog as high quality and relevant, you will receive better rankings. Your blog will be viewed as an authority in the field by Google if many other great sites and blogs are linking back to yours. This is known as back linking. It's better to get back links from a variety of sites; don't get a bunch of links from only one site and none from any other sites.
